The sleek, low-profile PRIORI Series T2 uses the latest in sub-miniature fluorescent technology. The high-output T2 lamp generates 3500°K white light with a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 90. Electronic ballast provides “instant on” and eliminates the flicker and hum typically associated with fluorescent lighting.

Had my electrician install these lights for me and he said that hanging them was the worst part of the installation, but admitted that the wiring box is a tight fit. Installation aside, I love the lights. They have a low and high setting, and halogen lights are dimmable so I can leave them on at night. Electrician also recommended these over florescent especially if you have granite, it really highlights my granite. The price of the bulbs does sound excessive, but hopefully I will be able to get the stated 6,000 75% more efficient hours out of the bulbs to make it worthwhile. :-) No problems with the magnet closure also.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

priori undercabinet lights

I was having trouble finding under cabinet lighting that would not be visible from across the room because our new cabinets do not have have flat bottoms. The Priori T2 lights are not only very thin (less than 1 inch) but the lens directs the light downward only; most of the other fixtures I saw projected the light forward as well.
The electrician mentioned that there was barely enough space for him to make the connections, and the lens cover, which is held on with a magnet is very sensitive so it falls off if it is jarred.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

It produces great lighting on the backsplash and counter. The overall installation was relatively easy. The only cons are are follows: 1. The lamp (t2) is VERY fragile and very expensive. I broke one putting it in and had to spend $20 on a replacement. 2. the overall length under the cabinet must include enough space for the plug tab (as seen in photo) and the plug tat goes in it; so, for a 28" cabinet, don't get a 28" fixture.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
